Once upon a star-struck dream,
you plucked me out of my reality
you found me
look to the heavens
look to the stars
They glisten, sparkle, and glow,
each tear that falls
glistens, sparkles, and glows as well
filled with treasured memories
given as a reminder of you
The world has more than its fair share of problems
And COVID really sucks
just in case you didn’t know
they all burn brighter wherever you are
without you, I am simply incomplete
