Once upon a time
In a not-so-distant, long ago
Magic found heart
Or so this story goes
Their days were filled with laughter
Their nights, the heat of a passionate storm
Souls who are so clearly meant to be
Time passes quickly as it so often does
Magic and heart became careless and soon lost their way
Separated in a moment
Torn apart by pain
Words uttered in anger
Hurt so hard cannot find a way to quench the flame
Be still, my heart
Be still the pain
Tears fall softly, coming down like a spring rain
Deep in the night Heart, she carries on
She runs. She races to find her Magic
Haunted by the remnants of memories sheltering, shining, and showing brighter days
Two restless souls
Bound through all time, search in desperation
To find a way to carry on
Fueled by love,
Not easily tamed, like a moth drawn to a flame
Heart, she loves her Magic
For he is the calm to her storm
Magic he needs his heart
She is the brightness of each day
Each a half of who they are meant to be
Simply two star-struck souls, bound for all eternity
Together, Magic and heart can forge through any storm
Separate, they fight for air
