Once upon a time, I could’ve won hundred percent said that my answer was I never wanted to visit Alaska. I reasoned that I don’t like being cold, and I’m already typically cold! I’ll be at that. The land where some of my favorite animals live; sea otters, whales, moose, bears, deer, and elk .. to name a few! Then I had the most incredible, fantastic opportunity. There was a data training directors Boot Camp for Headstart. And this journey changed my entire perspective of being cold; while it was certainly cold, there were only about two hours of actual darkness of night. It’s the only place in the world where I’ve stood on the mountain and faced One direction, seeing the sun magnificently in the sky, and turned the opposite direction to see the moon, staring back at the sun magnificently in the sky. So once upon a time, my answer was, I never wanted to visit Alaska. I am so incredibly grateful and fortunate that I did get to stay there! I’m at my dearest friend, Kymaleigh, who opened her heart and time and shared Alaska with me; I will forever be grateful! Hugs and kisses, Alaska. I can’t wait to go back.
