Starlight Star-bright, hear this wish I make tonight
Every single day of the year, people take for granted their loved ones being near.
As I place the ornaments on the tree for now, what is the second year in a row
I have only one thought that is ever-present in my mind. The trees and colors certainly can vary; the location will never matter as long as Umair is next to me!
My home is in his arms, and the tree can be bare except for the twinkly lights. The best present I ever got was when Umair told me he loved me.
So, I will continue to work on all things sparkly and merry, but it won’t feel like Christmas until we are wrapped in each other’s arms.
So I know you will understand when I send out my Christmas wish, and there is only one thing on my list!
