I am grateful for the birds chirping outside with glee 

They teach such powerful lessons to me

Like how to be thankful for the world you have around you and sing your songs happily

I am grateful for the trees swaying in the breeze 

They teach powerful lessons to me

Like how to bend and sway with the breeze

I am thankful for nature and all her sounds 

I am grateful for the lessons taught to me

Like how to value and appreciate true beauty

Like how to be thankful for every gift offered

I am thankful to our God, Allah

He gave us this beautiful garden to live in and filled it with such wonder and beauty

I am grateful he surrounds us with angels to protect us 

Prophets to share each message we are meant to receive 

I am grateful he filled my mind and heart with words that dance around 

I am grateful he gave people who love me, and I love them back equally 

I am grateful for my health and strength 

I am grateful for my family’s health and strength 

I am grateful for the many miracles of new life and the ability to watch them grow 

I am grateful for the opportunity to worship my Father in Heaven 

I am grateful for his many blessings 

I am grateful for expected and unexpected blessings and miracles that surround me each day
