The White House too

I have written more letters pleading why I need to be with you

Not that I needed to jump over anyone also waiting in the line 

but merely to be by your side

A wife wishing and longing for her husband each and every night

More now that Mom is dancing with the angels 

I would shout to anyone willing to listen 

It needs to matter 

It matters to me

I have a million and one reasons why you need to be next to me

But I will settle for the one that matters most tonight
