There are so many times but this beautiful woman took our picture in Dubai. She was staying in our hotel but we didn’t know her. She took our photo and was so genuinely beautiful! She wanted to ensure the photos were perfect and they were. She received nothing from this interaction but we weee so blessed by her! There weee the beautiful women on the tour bus that were lovely and gentle. The tour guide who made everyone feel like the experience was individual and personalized. Each person gave far more than they hoped to receive in return. Each leaving a little more sparkle for each of us to treasure!

There are so many positive impacts family has had on me, from standing up and speaking my mind. Others teach me lessons about who I want to be more like and who I don’t want to be anything like. Impacts are lessons, and it’s up to you to ensure that the lesson is a positive one. Other people teach with impacting how you never want to be perceived. I try to take every lesson as an opportunity to learn, an opportunity to grow, and opportunity to give more than I take, an opportunity to walk gently on this earth and leave a little sparkle wherever I go!

And favorite restaurant 

I think my idea of favorite restaurant has altered slightly since COVID 

It’s more about the people and the experience of the meal rather than the actual location

In the past, my top favorites included 

Olive Garden, I love the salad, and I love the cheese ravioli and black tie 

Red Lobster, I love the salad, and I love shrimp scampi

Texas Roadhouse, I love the salad, and I love the chicken fried chicken (no gravy) 

Today, it’s Dino Valley Restaurant, and no, it’s not because it’s a three-hour buffet 

It’s the drive there 

It’s the monkeys on the side of the road 

It’s the people I love surrounding me 

But I also love cooking 

I have learned to make roghni naan at home, and I even bought a press

I love to make a roast for my family 

Chicken and Noodles

The simple act of cheese, grapes, and crackers can be a feast

A picnic with the people you love can be a five-star dining experience if you allow it to be 

So when you ask what’s my favorite restaurant, it changes day to day 

For me, it’s the people I love sharing the food with me
