Sometimes exuding love and joy

Sometimes, the words illustrate a story 

Other times, they fill you with memories of a journey 

And yet, even other times, they describe sights, sounds, and smells 

Sometimes, the words express sorrow and pain

Each is filled with love 

Powerful

Meaningful 

Thoughtful 

Articulate 

Each is filled with the path in which life weaves

Expressions 

Sometimes, an uphill climb 

Other times, a sweet path

Each destination for me is filled with love for my husband 

Most marriages in Pakistan are arranged

I have two thoughts about my marriage to Umair

First, is that it is a love match 

Second, that Allah arranged our marriage 

Both are blissful

Both are sublime 

Both are decadent

Both bring me immeasurable joy and happiness

We don’t know this sweet little birds name

but he lights up our life and world all the same

He has a precious heart and a symbol for each of us

not long ago he lost his mate

and after a bit of time he regained his swag and began to honk again

I like to think he honks especially for her

Lately we have begun to see him out again I love his joy and spirit

I don’t know this quirky little birds name but he is an inspiration to each of us all the same

What I can tell you about this delightful creature is he is likely an Egyptian Goose. Here are some other interesting facts about geese in general. Geese mate for life and grieve losses. Geese take care of their aging and sick. Egyptian Geese are smaller than other geese. And these little gems were considered sacred animals in Egypt because they considered them to be messengers between janna and earth. He has a very interesting honk and I love hearing him chatter.
